Description : This is the "Gold" edition of The Warp featuring a new difficulty level and a bonus episode, as well as a whole host of bugfixes and aesthetic upgrades. Warped difficulty: accessed from the menu in ZDoom ports Use -coop_spawns in other ports (that support it). The Warp is a Doom 2 wad using mostly original assets. It focuses on action, but rewards exploration and secret-hunting. It takes place across varied landscapes, including both familiar and more unusual level designs. The difficulty is moderate to high, but enemy numbers are reasonable and map sizes manageable, at least until the final stretch. The wad has an original soundtrack, mostly written by the wad author. There are three guest maps, including a super secret true final map. (Co-op starts not added; this is for single player only). Warped difficulty works in SOLONET compatible source ports, such as GZDoom and DSDA-Doom. Please note that the new difficulty is visible in the menu in GZDoom only. For other source ports add "-coop_spawns" to play in Warped mode. -New Bonus Episode added. This episode features three maps that were jettisoned along the way + a brand new map. -Massive automap cleanup -Cyberdemon fight in map02 now has a BFG + ammo on lower difficulties -Raising rev pit in map10 moved back from the player's face -Misaligned texture fixed in map11 -Visual glitch in map14 on software mode fixed (I think) -Made a secret on map15 less obtuse (or more so; we shall see) -Multi-sector secrets in map19 made into one single secret, as intended -Raised a gap between cliffs in map19 to make it clear that you neither can nor should try to jump through it -Teleport closets in map25 and map31 improved -Missing textures reinstated in map20 -Stash of rockets on map22 made more visible so people will stop ignoring it -Switches in final fight of map 24 moved so they cannot be hit from below -Stray bit of STARTAN removed from map28 -Major change: completely rejigged the underwhelming red key fight on map29 -Made rocket launcher more prominet at the beginning of map29, so you don't forget to pick it up -Made a few of the later maps (esp 29, 33, 34) slightly harder on UV, as the difficulty curve was going the wrong way -Added some extra resources to the end of map29 (especially useful on warped difficulty) -Map32 de-cheesed; also moved pillar so you cannot get softlocked and fixed glitchy perimeter fence -Fixed broken pulsing lights on map34 -Made it clearer that a switch on map34 closes doors in front of archviles and spider masterminds for a few seconds -A few fixes to map35, by the map author -Various minor adjustments and fixes
